Introduction: "Glitched" Computer Prank [Super Easy]

About: I like the outdoors, like camping and survival stuff. I also like sports :3
Ever wanted to pull a computer prank on your friend/co-worker/family but never had the computer knowledge to do so? Well now you can! This prank is uber easy, and only requires a couple of steps to tell the whole thing. The prank will result in the victim being able to move the mouse, but not clicking on anything. This prank can easily be reverted by restarting the computer or (if you are tech savvy) going into Task Manager and starting Explorer.exe again. Shall we get started? :D Note, it does not work properly on my computer, but Ac1d said it works on all windows computers from windows 98 and up.

Step 1: Opening Task Manager

You can open task manager by pressing CTRL + ALT + DELETE at the same time. This will open up a menu with tasks such as, Shut down computer, etc. Click on the last one on the list, which is open task manager. Now task manager is open! ^.^

Step 2: Task Manager

Task Manager is open now. Go to the processes tab. You will see a list of everything your computer is doing. Somewhere on the list, you will see explorer.exe. Left click on it. A button on the bottom, End Process, will become clickable. Click the end process button on the bottom. Now close task manager.

Step 3: THE END

Now just leave the computer there and stand somewhere watching your victim moving around the mouse, trying to click on things, then most likely turning their computer off or asking you for help. Turning it off fixes it. They will not be able to click on anything! I tried this a while ago, and it was hilarious. You can fix it by 1: Restarting your Computer 2: Opening task manager, clicking on the applications tab, clicking new task, and typing in explorer.exe 3: (credit to Ac1d) holding down the button with the windows symbol on it, and then press r. Type in windows.exe there . Happy Pranking!
