Introduction: Glock-38
This is an Instructable of my knex Glock 38. I like this gun because it isn't too small, or too big, but still maintains a fair amount of power, this way, you can still keep a side-arm in your pocket, without sacrificing much range (if any) and keep up a good mag size and accuracy.
- Now with all-new angled handle and trigger! (Updated Feb. 9, 2009)
- Size: 6.25" x 4.75"
- Range: ~ 20-30 ft. (depending on bands)
- Accuracy: Very Consistent
- Pc. Count: Medium
- Mag Size: 9
Step 1: Handle
This is the handle and mag of the gun. Follow The Pics.
1. Build These.
2. Attach like this.
3. Add These.
4. Put this here. (Put it on the other side if your right-handed)
Step 2: Barrel
This is how to build the barrel of the gun.
1. Build These.
2. Attach like this.
3. Put on here.
4. Add this.
5. Add this.
6. Add This.
7. Slide this in.
Step 3: Trigger
This is my new Trigger System, it is very reliable.
1. Build it.
2. Put it on.
3. Add Rubber band.
Step 4: Innards
The "innards" (guts) include the ram and mag push.
1. Ram
2. Mag push
Step 5: Bands
This step shows where to place rubber bands.
1. Ram band.
2. Mag band.
Step 6: Loading & Firing
This is how to load and fire. This gun uses the standard Dark Grey Connectors for ammo. Or you could go to D.C. and get some real bullets at "Flak & Shrapnel's", but enough of that, lets get go'in.
When you load, be sure the bullets are all lined up perfectly straight, otherwise the gun may load two.
2. Loading: Put in the mag push
3. Firing: Pull back the ram until a bullet clicks into the chamber, then just pull the trigger.
P.S. - after you empty a clip, there will be one extra bullet that the push cant... well... push. You could extend the push to keep this from happening, but i like this sized pusher because it wont go up into the chamber.

- By the way, these pics show the old version, but all rules still apply.

Step 7: Finished!
Congrats! You've completed my knex Glock-38! (unless you just skipped to the end...)
I Hope you have as much fun with it as I do.

wow, it seems that nobody can make a pistol without it looking like the Dunkis's tds. then if you try to make an AST pistol, you end up with it resemblin IAC or bakenbitz. this is why I stay away from pistols/sidearms.

yes, this is due to his angled handle, it seems to be the most popular mag/handle on the site, tho slightly modded each time.

Build a net gun out of knex. Search net gun to find out what I mean. You would be the first knexer in the world to invent a non-lethal knex weapon!
