Introduction: Gluten-Free Mongolian Beef Noodles
Ingredients in order of appearance of this instructable:
8 oz gluten free rice noodles
1/4 c water
1/3 c brown sugar
1/2 c gluten free soy sauce
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1 lb flank steak
1/2 tbsp veg oil x4 (2 tbsp veg oil)
salt and pepper -season to taste
3 c coleslaw mix
3 green onions- sliced (including the white part)
1/2 tsp ground ginger
3 garlic cloves, minced
Step 1: Follow Someone Else's Instructions
Cook the rice noodles according to the instructions on the box.
Step 2: Grab That Medium Bowl
Mix together 1/4 c water, 1/3 c brown sugar, 1/2 c gluten-free soy sauce and 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes.
Step 3: Attack the Flank!
Slice the flank steak into thin strips.
Step 4: Wok(a)
Heat 1/2 tbsp vegetable in the wok on high heat. Add 1/3 of the steak to the wok and brown both sides. Remove the steak from the wok and place on a plate to the side. Repeat this step 2 more times to cook all of the steak.
Step 5: Wok(a)
Heat 1/2 tbsp of vegetable oil and add the 3 c coleslaw and 3 sliced green onions. Cook for 2 minutes.
Step 6: Wok(a)
Stir in the 1/2 tsp ground ginger and the 3 minced garlic cloves.
Step 7: It's All Coming Together.
Add the sauce and drained noodles to the wok and continue to cook for 4 minutes.
Step 8: Last Step!
Remove the wok from the heat and stir in the steak.
Step 9: Enjoy!
