This is an upgraded external microphone for a GoPro Camera. It will work for 1, 2 or 3. Standard GoPro mics on gopro's suck really bad, I am sure whoever owns one knows what I am talking about.
I had to buy another case to use with this microphone as I want to use my original sealed case for water sports. It was pretty easy, mark your hole and drill. Plug the microphone in and its all set.
This microphone works really really well, it comes with 1 dead cat as wind muff.
