Introduction: Grado SR60 Upgrades

About: I'm a web designer/developer/musician with an insatiable hunger to make things. I typically make music and/or light based projects.

I was on call this weekend so I decided to give my SR60s an upgrade.  I CNC'd some some new cups out of red oak and etched a pattern in some aluminum for the grill.  The pattern is from my javascript based drum beat generation script that uses an euclidian based rhythm formula.  I took one beat and converted it to a design in illustrator.  You can hear the "drummer" here (Google chrome only): http://chriscarignandesign.com/WEBAUDIO/endlessdrummer.html
