Great Tasting Puppy Chow

On this instructable i will show you how to make a quick, easy, delectable snack called puppy chow.

Step 1: Materials

You are going to need
- 1/2 a cup of peanut butter
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
- 1 cup of chocolate chips
- 3 cups of powdered sugar
- 9 cups of Rice Chex (crispix) cereal 
- 1/4 cup of butter
- a Spatula
- a large ziploc bag

Step 2:

Take you 1 cup of chocolate chips, your 1/2 cup of peanut butter, and your 1/4 cup of butter and put them all in a microwaveable bowl. Microwave on high for a minute then stir until they are evenly mixed. Then add your 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla to your bowl and stir that in good. 

Step 3:

Now take your 9 cups of Rice Chex or Crispix and pour your chocolate chip, peanut butter, and vanilla mix into the bowl. then take your spatula and mix it to where the cereal is evenly covered.

Step 4:

Final step, pour your 3 cups of powdered sugar into your large plastic bag and pour your covered cereal into the bag. Close and shake the bag until your crispix or cereal is evenly covered.

This stuff is so addicting! I make it every year around new years because if I made it any more often I would need a forklift and a larger doorway to get outside. Gotta be able to get to the store to get more ingredients. YUMMO!!

So delicious. For some reason I can never get mine coated as nicely in the powdered sugar. Though I'll have to try again to check if I can do it. :)
