Introduction: Green Seasoning Goodness

Green seasoning is simply a puree or chunky blend of fresh herbs, onions, garlic, and hot pepper.

This green seasoning recipe is great on chicken, meat, fish and veggies. I am sharing this with you because your kitchen needs this green goodness. It saves time and adds massive flavor to your meals.

Supplies

1 bundle of Cilantro (about 1-2 cups)

1 stalk of celery (include leaves if you have it)

1 head or garlic (about 11 cloves)

4 green onions (scallions)

1 bunch of fresh thyme (about 3/4 cup)

1/4 cup of water

pinch of salt (optional)

2-3 shallots (optional)

2 pimento peppers (1 banana pepper or 1 Cubanelle)

Food processor or blender.

Knife

Large basins

Strainer

Empty recycle cranberry bottle/any storage container.

Step 1: Step 1: Peel, Trim and Wash the Ingredients and Let Drain

thoroughly wash and sort out good and bad herbs before preparation

Step 2: Step 2: Then Rough-cut Into Smaller Pieces So It’s Easier to Manage and Work in the Blender or Food Processor.

Step 3: Step 3: Wash Herbs Thoroughly and Drain Using a Strainer

Step 4: Step 4: Add All the Ingredients Into Your Food Processor/blender Including the Water. You May Be Required to Move Around or Push Down the Ingredients Occasionally So It All Gets Worked by the Blades. You Can Make Seasoning Chunky or Less Chunky .

Stores in the Refrigerator in

jars or in my case empty cranberry bottles. Seasoning can be altered to your liking by adding or omitting ingredients.
