Introduction: HERBERT: THE FTC-STYLE ELEVATOR BOT (MAKE IT MOVE)

About: Everything robotics, 3D printing, and general creativity

HERBERT ANATOMY FULL CAD MODEL

HERBERT is an FTC-style elevator robot composing of custom 3D-printed parts, ACTOBOTICS components, as well as custom-cut plexiglass. I designed a large sector of HERBERT in TINKERCAD, as the software offered easy assembly and visualization of my ideas. All printed parts on HERBERT are sourced from this model, although all of the components on HERBERT are not shown in the model.

Step 2: THE ELEVATOR

Step 3: INTAKE AND TENNIS BALL MANAGEMENT (WIP)

INTRO:

For fun, I decided to add an attachment to HERBERT's elevator, that being a three-tennis-ball intake, essentially just a tube with a wheel. Please note that the design is still in work-in-progress (WIP) at this point, and there is no motor gusset designed yet.
