Introduction: HOT ROD FLAMES PAINT AND MASK
THIS IS A QUICKIE ON HOW I PAINTED WOODEN DOORS FOR A SHOP
Step 1:
Step 2: SUPPLES AND REFENCE DRAWING
Step 3:
Step 4: CUTTING MASK
TAKE YOUR TIME AND USE A SOFT TOUCH AS NOT TO LEAVE A DEEP CUT ON THE FINISHED PRODUCT,
Step 5: WEEDING
Step 6: MASK READY FOR PAINT
THE BOARD HAD RED PAINT ON IT TO START, THIS WAS PAINTED OVER THEN ORANGE USED FINALLY YELLOW
Step 7: PAINTING
Step 8: REMOVING MASK
PULL AWAY FROM PAINT EDGE, HELPS KEEP PAINT FROM COMING UP AS WELL
Step 9: FINAL
WILL PINSTRIPE PROBABLY... NOT SURE ANY THOUGHTS.
TRIED TO ADD FINAL PICS THEY ARE NOT THAT BAD....

A blue pinstripe would look awesome. If you don't want to fool with a proper pinstripe brush and lettering enamel, a steady hand and a paint pen would do fine in this application.

that would have worked well, friend wanted shading added shadows with airbrush and tipped flames in blue, had to remask the whole thing. will work on getting a new pic . I never thought of a paint pen will experiment with....
thanks...
