Step 1: Step 1: Get Your Materials

the things that you will need to make a paintbrush(or pencil) levitate:

6 magnets(with holes in them)

1 pencil(or paintbrush)

1 foam board

1 plastic divider

and a LOT of tape

Step 2: Step 2 :making It Levitate

Once you got your materials , you grab the pencil and your tape.Tape the pencil two times a few inches apart. Squeeze two magnets on top of the tape. Put that aside and start making the base. Put the foam board in front of you and grab the remaining four magnets. Make four holes in the middle of the foam board and stick the magnets in the holes.Put some tape on the sides of the magnets.Now take the plastic divider and stick it on one side of the four magnets. Now grab the pencil with the magnets on them and place it over the four magnets with the pointy side of the pencil touching the plastic divider. If it doesn't work, keep on tweaking on it till it levitates! Have fun!
