Intro: HOW TO MAKE AN EL WIRE BACKPACK

This Instructable will show you how to make your very own El Wire Backpack!

This is perfect for your bike at night, or just showing off to your friends.

This is also a perfect project for beginners at sewing and with El Wire.

I thought about getting some green el wire and adding it to the right and left sides so that
you could have a turn signal system.

STEP 1: Step 1: Material List

YOU WILL NEED:

9 Feet of EL Wire
Battery Pack For El Wire
Scotch Shipping Tape
Scissors
Sewing Kit
Pen
Backpack Or Other Object

STEP 2: Step 2: Placement of Wire

Use the pen and make small marks of where you want the El wire to be placed.

Be carefull: i used a washable pen so that i could wash it out.

STEP 3: Step 3: Placing the El Wire

Use the pen and make small marks around where you what the El Wire to be on the backpack.

Then cut about 15 small strips of tape. (SET ASIDE)

And then start placing the El Wire around the marks you just made securing them with the tape.

NOTE: you can always change the placement later on if you like.

STEP 4: Step 4: THE SEWING BEGINS!!!

Thread your needle with about an armspan of thread.

Begin sewing your EL WIRE down.

Note: i tried to use my old embrodery machine that i use in my business but sadley it ended up breaking. RIP

NOTE: use lots of thread on the corners especialy.

STEP 5: Step 5: YOUR FINISHED

You are now finnished with your El Wire backpack!!!!

i could have done a lot neater work when i sewen everything down
and i really could have aligned the el wire better.
