Hacky Sack Move: the Clipper

Introduction: Hacky Sack Move: the Clipper

The purpose of this instructable is to help teach advanced-amateur hacky sack players how to do the clipper. It is very important that whoever is attempting this trick has previous hacky sack experience. With this step-by-step guide and previous hacky sac experience this trick can be learned within an hours time helping to advance your game to the next level. To begin grab a hacky sac and find an open flat area.

Step 1: Step 1

Once you are prepared start by either throwing the hacky sack into the air or by volleying the hacky sack with your foot.

Hint: You’ll want the hacky sack to be at chest to shoulder height allowing for ample time to set up.

Step 2: Step 2

After hitting or throwing the hacky sack into the air prepare for the clipper by sliding your dominant foot backwards about one and a half feet. Simultaneously you will want to bend the knee of you non-dominant leg allowing ample room for the next step.

Step 3: Step 3

As the hacky sack passes your midriff this is your cue to move your dominant leg behind and across your bent non-dominant leg.

Hint: Balance is very important because at this point you will be in a semi-seated position and will also be supported by only your non-dominant leg. The first couple times this motion will feel strange.

Step 4: Step 4

As the hacky sac falls to knee level slowly lift your foot and make contact with the hacky sack.

Hint: this is the hardest step to execute. Don’t get discouraged.

Step 5: Step 5

After hitting the hacky sac return you your dominant foot to it original position and
Unbend your non-dominant knee.

Step 6: Congratulations

You have now completed the clipper! have a hacktastic day!

i would like to say that this is not an original move i have been using it for two years but we call it the "jester" and a variation would be the "switch jester" u do the same move while in the air. just saying.

Yeah, I know this as the jester too. I think it is more popular to do this in the air because it is more comfortable.
