Introduction: Half Baked

I Looooove cookie dough... chocolate chip cookie dough to be exact, at the same time I would vote cookies as my last meal. The problem is , I just can't have cookie dough in a cookie. If i bake it... it's not dough anymore... it evolves into the next thing I love. So for cookie dough addicts and cookie lovers like me... I present the solution! Cookie dough cups!

Step 1: Things You Need to Raid Your Kitchen For

This is just a short overview, the exact quantities will be listed in the following steps!

1. Butter
2. Caster sugar
3. Vanilla extract
4. Chocolate buttons
5. 1 egg
6. Plain flour
7. Self-raising flour
8. Cocoa powder
9. Salt
10. Light brown sugar
11. Milk
12. Mini chocolate chips (they must be miniature!)

Optional: Mini Marshmallows and small squares of chocolates

Equipment

1. Mixing bowls
2. Measuring Equipment
3. Mini Ice-cream scoop
4. Mini muffin Tray
5. Mini cupcake liners

Step 2: For the Cookie Cups

For these rich chocolatey cookie cups, you will need

1. 250g  butter
2. 150 g caster sugar
3. 1 tsp vanilla extract
4. 1 cup chocolate buttons
5. 1 egg
6. 1 cup plain flour
7. 1 cup self-raising flour
8. 3/4 cup cocoa powder
9. 1 tsp salt

Step 3: Making the Dough

Combine the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl and melt the butter and the chocolate in a microwave on high.... oh yeah look at that chocolate.

Step 4: Knead That Dough

Add the egg, to the dry ingredients, salt and vanilla followed by the melted butter and that gorgeous chocolate.
Mix them together furiously until it forms a dough.

Step 5: Molding Those Lil Cups

Line the bottom of your mini muffin pan with cupcake liners. (That's right we're using the underside!) Now mold the dough over the liners. Alternate the dough to give the cookies some breathing space so the cups don't stick together.

Step 6: Bake!

Bake the cups on high for 180 Degrees Celsius for 20-25 minutes.

Step 7: While the Cookies Are Baking....

These are the ingredients you will need for that lovely dollop of cookie dough ...

1. 120g butter, room temperature
2. 1/4 cup caster sugar
3. 1/2 cup light brown sugar
4. 2 tablespoons milk
5. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
6. 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
7. 1/2 teaspoon salt
8. 1/2 cup or more mini chocolate chips (I absolutely insist on miniature!)

Step 8: That Cookie Dough

Combine butter and sugar in a mixing bowl, followed by the milk, vanilla . Mix viciously until you get a creamy consistency. Mix in the  flour until a dough forms. Finally, stud that cookie dough with as many mini chocolate chips as you like! (more is always better)

Step 9: Now Fetch Those Cookie Cups

Remove the cookie cups from the oven and let them cool...When they are cooled, remove the cupcake liners from the inside of the cups.  You are just 5 minutes from biting into these babies, just contain yourself a little longer.... got your ice-cream scoop ready?

Step 10: Assemble

This is really up to you , (but I would go camping just as an excuse to eat smores) so I filled the bottom of my cups with mini marshmallows and a small square of chocolate . Then top it with a dollop of that amazing cookie dough. Can you spot the hidden mickey?

Step 11: EAT

Now recline with that hot cup of java ....Gosh .... Love at first bite
