Halloween Light-Up Pipe Cleaner Necklace

Halloween is just as good an excuse to give gifts as birthdays or Christmas! Making holiday-themed gifts is always fun, especially on Halloween! You can make the prefect Halloween light-up necklace gift with only a few simple materials that will make this Halloween even more fun!

Step 1: Materials

You will need:
-Some pipe cleaners of multiple colors
-A short string of working LED lights
-Scissors (to open the bag)

Step 2: Choosing Colors

Open the bag of pipe cleaners. Next, choose a color (or colors) to use in the necklace. Try to choose complementary colors (colors opposite each other on the color wheel) that match the Halloween spirit, for example, black and orange, or orange and green.

Step 3: Wrapping the Pipe Cleaners

Start by wrapping a single pipe cleaner around the end of the string of lights. Then, wind it all the way up around the wire. You may need more than one pipe cleaner for each color. Repeat with all of the rest of your colors, and try not to cover the lights. Keep testing the lights to make sure they still operate.

Step 4: Back of Necklace

Take two black pipe cleaners, and hook them on the ends of the necklace. Next, tie them together at the ends.

Step 5: Done!!!
