Halo Style Weapon From Dyson Vacuum Extension Stick

Make a halo style gun from not many things.
It is neat easy and looks authentic!
perfect for Halloween FUN!!!
this instructable is a non destructible and you should be able to slide the body peice on and off the vacuum stick

Step 1: What You Will Need

you will need;
3 rubber bands
a medium sized cardboard box
the extension stick
tape
scissors
toilet roll tube
spray paint black and silver
foam
and thats it!

Step 2: Fasten the Foam

Get the foam, the tape and the the extension thing
Wrap the foam around the yellow bit make sure the wire wrapper is still visible.
Fasten with the tape you may have to do this a few times...

Step 3: Boxing

Get the box slide over the foam coated pipe you may have to cut one of the panels off and tape it together.
Cut two slits in either side of the cardboard on top sides.
Fold the two new tabs inwards fold the big tab over then tape together.
This gives you the front slant.

Step 4: The Scope

This bit is easy.
Get the tube and the elastic bands slide the elastic bands over the tube getting the metal bands around the scope.
Try to space evenly.

Step 5: Pointing(optional)

If you want your gun  prop to look like good than you may want to do this step.

Get the spare piece of card board measure up against the main body of the gun for where it he slant starts, the slant ends and about 1 cm below where the slant ends.
make sure you start the measure from the right side of the spare piece lined up to the right side of the body and only use as much for each tab as you need.
once that is done measure the width of the piece at the bottom of the main body. mark it on another peice of card board and cut the length of the cut sides from from one corigated parallel
side to another. repeat on the top side.

Step 6: Pointing Continued

get the pieces and stick together like the on the picture if it does not stay up right tape on inside so half of the the tape is on one piece and half is on the one nearest to it.
slide on then tape to the main body on all sides.

Step 7: Spray Them

Get the box and the scope on a piece of cardboard and spray them with the black first then if you want to spray silver on the edges.

Step 8: Stick Together

Once dried get the body of the gun an the scope tape on top of each other or if you want on the side. then get the body and slide onto the vacuum extension stick.
 Then get into your costume and go!!!
