Introduction: Rope Swing
The hammock chair is a verry efficent swing. You can take him with you for a walk, or when you are in nature. The swing is a perfect outdoor summer fun!
With about 25 minutes of prep time to complete. Let's get started!
Step 1: Materials
For this project, you will need:
1. Rope (I used a Yellow robe of 20m long)
2. Band strips
3. 2 carabiner
Step 2: Making Hinge Knot
This is the first knot we make to get strated with the swing. This knot ensures that we can fold the swing, so as to provide more space
Step 3: Seat Swing
In the making of the seat of the swing, we begin by creating a chain sinnet around the hinge loops of the knot.
Step 4: Dubble Chain Sennit
In this step we do the knots with a dubble loop. Therefore we get a stronger construction, which is also wider.
Step 5: Ends Seat Swing
At the end of the seat of the swing we make a basic loop.
Step 6: Height Adjustment
To adjust the height we make along both sides 3 loops where we can later snap or carabiner.
Step 7: Connecting Carabiners
To connect the carabiners we make a double eight knot at the end of our rope. The double eight knot is one of the simplest knots to form a loop in the rope.
