Han Solo's DL-44 Blaster

Introduction: Han Solo's DL-44 Blaster

About: i am an aspiring prop maker and keen sci-fi fan. i found this site a few years back and i did not know i'd ever love it this much! i'm mostly into Assassin's Creed cosply and Star Wars Cosplay.

So Halloween is here and you probablydon't have any good props, so here's my DL-44 Blaster

Step 1: Things You Need

A Dremmel

Primer

Gloss Black spray paint

Metallic Silver spray paint

masking tape

A Rubie's han solo blaster

Step 2: Drilling the Holes.

take a drillbit from your dremmel kit, prefably one that fits the hole size and drill out the holes, once each hole is drilled out, remove the front grill by cutting out around the edge of the front grill, sand it down and prime the front

Step 3: Painting

for your first coat, add a layer of primerto both sides, then put a layer of gloss black on either side, once the black has cured, mask off the areas shown on the diagrams and spray those silver

Step 4: Finishing Up

this is what your finished DL-44 blaster should look like. It was a short one but a good one.

Happy Halloween 'yall!
