Supplies

To prepare block print fabric we need a block by which we can paste that print on the fabric Apart from block we need colors which are yellow blue pink red hot black orange gray green and more beautiful colors Apart from this we need a color tray in which we get the print by pouring the color and hitting the block on it and then by hitting the block on the fabric And we need a plain table on which the cloth should be spread on a thick enough layer so that the color does not spread much on the cloth and is taken by the cloth below. This is all that is needed for the manufacture of a hand block print.

Step 1: Making Wooden Block

Wooden block making This process is done by the wooden block maker. This process is done very carefully. First a picture of the block is made on a paper. the picture is pasted on a piece of wood Then it is pierced with the help of tools by which we get a fine print.

Step 2: Color Making

Color making this is very important task of hand block print because it is very important to see which color we are using because if the color looks good then only our block can take a beautiful look.

Step 3: Color Tray Preparation

The color that we have prepared is put in this tray and a piece of blanket is put on top of it, through which the color is uniformly applied on the block.

Step 4: Cloth Laying

To print the block, we have to lay the cloth on a plane table, which is properly fixed by pins so that the cloth does not move while applying the block.

Step 5: Hitting the Block on the Cloth

This is the most important process because in this we have to apply the block of color on the cloth from which we get the print it is done very carefully In this we have to use as many color blocks as we have to apply.Blocks of color are applied one after the other and in this way we get a beautiful print

Step 6: Drying Clothes

Drying of the cloth is the last process when we put all the blocks then it is put to dry so that the print is well on the cloth
