Introduction: Hand-print Witch
Supplies needed:
· A child
· acrylic paint
· glitter
· glue
· black marker
· construction paper
· paint brushes
· wiggly eyes
Step 1: Gather Supplies
Step 2: Paint the Child's Hand
This only requires a light coat, too much will cause the hand print to not turn out on the paper.
Step 3: Place Their Hand on the Paper
The child's hand needs to be placed flat on the paper for about 5 seconds
Step 4: Add Glitter
This part is tricky, mainly because you have a toddler with wet paint on their hand and a drying paper. This step is optional.
Step 5: Wash Hands
We just used dish-soap and water, the paint came off pretty easily.
Step 6: Add the Hair
You can add the hair with the child's fingers or a paint brush. I chose to use to her fingers to keep her involved.
Step 7: More Glitter!
This step the glitter is a little bit easier to add. I actually got to the paper before it all dried.
without letting my toddler paint the house purple :)
Step 8: Let Them Dry
The paint dried completely in about five minutes.
Step 9: Assemble the Hats
To create the hats, I drew on the black paper and then cut around it. For the middle part of the hat I cut 1 inch of the yellow paper then glued it to the cut out portion of the black paper.
