Hanging Tomato Planter From Old Socks
Intro: Hanging Tomato Planter From Old Socks
If you are short of space and want to reuse them , then turn them into space saving hanging planters
STEP 1: Find an Old Sock
STEP 2: Fill It With Soil
STEP 3: Add the Tomato Seedling
STEP 4: Put a Small Hook
STEP 5: Hang Your New Planter
So you have your tomato planter ready to go just add sun and water. One small step and you are finished
STEP 6: Softly Bend Downwards(guide)
The tomato plant will eventually hang down by itself but will make a stronger stem if you guided it using a simple clothes peg. Don't pinch the seedling . Just make sure the soft part of the plant is just in the hole of the peg so its not damaged. You are simply weighting it down so that it starts growing downwards. It will soon fall due to gravity but no risk of snapping :)

That is such a cool concept! Would you mind posting picture updates, so we can see how it works with a fully-grown tomato?

This is a really clever, but simple idea. Nicely done!
