Introduction: Hash Brown Breakfast Sandwich | White Thunder BBQ

When your fresh out of buns or biscuits.

Ingredients (per sandwich)

2 Potato Patties

2 Slices of bacon (cut in half)

2 Slices of American Cheese

1 Egg

2 Pinches of Chives

Salt + Pepper

Step 1: Cook Bacon and Hash Browns

Using a griddle cook up 2 slices of bacon (cut in half) and 2 hash brown patties.

When hash brown patties are nice and crisp, put 1 slice of American cheese on each.

Step 2: Fry the Egg

Fry / Cook 1 egg any way you like.

Step 3: Sandwich Assembly

Chop up some fresh chives onto the cheese side of each hash brown.

Assembly as follows:

Hash Brown - cheese - chives - bacon - egg - bacon - chives - cheese - hash brown.

Wrap in foil.

    Mmmmmm ! You best get a patent on this GREAT B/fast goodness. I put my own spin on it this AM I used peameal bacon (aka cornmeal +CDN bacon) and lightly fried in butter, of course, a sliced pear- the cheese of choice for me was Gorgonzola ! ! served with black coffee and life is good once more !

    I do something like this,but with fried bread instead of the hash brownies,so I'm going to give this way a go.Would it be greedy to try both together :)

    This is awesome. I have made these before. My version has the cheese melted on the hashbrown in fry pan, then flipped to crisp the cheese.
