Introduction: Healthy Salad
I have made a healthy meal to eat for lunch using a bunch of healthy food items. I have made a salad. I followed Canada’s food guide to make this. 50% of the meal is fruits and vegetables, 25% protein food, and 25% whole grain foods. This is an appropriate meal for females ages 12 and 13.

Step 1: Ingredients...
*Use the needed amount
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Cucumber
- Onion
- Apple
- Red beans/ Kidney beans
- Corn
- Carrots
- peas
- Croutons
- Almonds
Step 2: Wash and Cut!
Wash and cut all the food items into necessary sizes and amounts.
Step 3: Boil!
(optional)
Boil the carrots, corn, peas, and beans.
Step 4: Mix!
Mix all of them together including croutons(except beans).

Step 5: Serve!
Now you have made your quick and easy meal which is healthy! Add the beans to the side and enjoy! Remember to keep your drinking choice as water. Stay healthy and enjoy the meal!
