Here I’ll share another brick stitch earring pattern to help improve your beadwork techniques. It’s a special heart-in-heart design for the coming of Valentine’s Day!

Step 1: You'll Need:

3mm Round Seed Beads

Earring Hooks

0.3mm Tiger Tail Wire

Wire Cutter Pliers

Scissors

Step 2: Make the Increasing Brick Stitch Pattern

1st, prepare a piece of blue wire to approximately 60cm;

2nd, to make the row 1, you’ll need: string two blue seed beads. Leave a 3~4cm long wire tail. Thread the other wire end through two seed beads twice to exit it above the first seed bead;

Step 3:

3rd, on row 2, firstly add one blue seed bead, pass wire up through the added seed bead. Pull the wire snugly. Next, string one blue seed bead, pass the wire through exposed wire loop on row 1 and then up through the latest added bead. Tighten the wire. Finally, add one blue seed bead, pass through the same exposed wire loop on row 1, up through the newly added bead and then pull tautly;

Step 4:

4th, just as what did on above, the following rows 3~9 will be like:Row 3: four blue seed beads;Row 4: two blue seed beads, one pink seed beads and two blue seed beads;Row 5: two blue seed beads, two pink seed beads and two blue seed beads;Row 6: two blue seed beads, three pink seed beads and two blue seed beads;Row 7: two blue seed beads, four pink seed beads and two blue seed beads;Row 8: two blue seed beads, two pink seed beads, one blue seed bead, two pink seed beads and two blue seed beads;Row 9: ten blue seed beads.

Step 5: Make the Decreasing Brick Stitch Pattern

1st, to make the row 10, string two blue seed bead, skip over the first exposed thread loop on row 9 and pass the wire through the second exposed wire loop, then exit the wire at the last added bead. Tighten the wire;

Step 6:

2nd, separate the entire brick stitch earring pattern into left and right parts. Then make an decreasing brick stitch pattern for the left part;

3rd, direct the wire back to the 5th (middle) seed bead on row 10, then make an decreasing brick stitch pattern for the right part.

Step 7: Attach the Earring Hook

1st, Weave the remaining wire end through the seed beads on right part to exit it above the 5th (middle) seed bead on row 10;

2nd, string 8~10 pcs blue seed beads to create a beaded loop;

3rd, weave and stuck the excess wire through the newly added seed beads;4th, open the loop on earring hook, string the beaded loop. Close the loop.

Step 8: Repeat the Above to Make the Other Earrings!
