Introduction: Hearts From Ring Pulls.
I drink too much soft drink. So, I might as well use it.
I give you hearts made from the things on top of soft drink cans (With a little bit of wool.)

Step 1: Alchemical Components Required.
You will need:
- 2 ring pulls. Preferably the same size and shape.
- A size F (4ml) crochet hook. (If you need a smaller one, just use it.)
- A skerrick (Very small amount. It's a real word.) of DK (8 ply) yarn in an appropriate, or inappropriate, colour.
- About ten minutes.
- Basic crochet skills (Chaining, single crochet).
Note on naming the holes:
Does anyone know the name of the holes? Until I'm enlightened, the hole where the pull is attached to the can is gonna be called the "base" hole and the other hole is the "tail" hole.

Step 2: The First Petal (Is That What You Call It?)
Make a slip knot and then single crochet 5 stitches into the tail hole of one of the ring pulls.
Step 3: The Pointy Bit.
Lay your other ring pull on top of the first. The base holes should be aligned and the tail holes perpendicular.
Single crochet two stitches through both base holes and then chain two. They should sit on the side of the holes, closest to the already done petal.
Single crochet two stitches into the same hole. They should sit on the other exposed side of the base hole. Tugging on the chains should pointify it if it isn't already.
Seriously, it's like making a granny square around some ring pulls.

Step 4: The Second Petal and Finishing.
Single crochet 5 stitches into the remaining tail hole.
Single crochet 1 stitch into the base holes. Poke your hook into the corner between the two petals in order to make this stitch.
Tie your ends together.
You just made your first ring pull heart. If you find something useful to do with it, let me know.
