Helping Out My Car Air Conditioning Part 3!

In the hot island I call home sweet home, I always seek ways to improve my Car air conditioning system.
This is a simple means to Insulate the suction line in the engine bay using off the shelf air conditioning insulation tape.

Step 1: Wrapping the Suction Line.

Why the suction line? This line gets really cold during operation. I cut 12 inch lengths of the tape and wrapped it tightly in a 45 degree angle around the line.

Step 2: Completion and Testing.

Once completed, I put a few zip ties to ensure the wrapping stays on even though it is adhesive. Starting the engine and having the air conditioning working.. I'm pleased with the results. A small improvement but every bit helps. From a freezing air conditioning in hot sun to a bit more freezing? I won't complain!
