Introduction: Hexagon Planter
The steps you will be reading are ways to help you make a good hexagon planter
Step 1: What You Will Need
1. 1 inch by 6 inch by 8 foot piece of wood
2. A 4 foot by 4 foot piece of plywood
3. Rocks
4. 1/2 inch 50ft long sisal rope
5. Miter saw
6. Jig saw
7. Nail gun
8. Wood glue
9. Construction adhesive
Step 2: Cutting the Planter Wood and Assemble
1. Cut 6 one foot pieces of the 1 inch by 6 inch by 8 foot piece of wood
2. Cut the edges of those piece at 30 degrees
3. Aline in a hexagon and glue them together
4. Use the nail gun and nail them together
Step 3: Cutting the Base
1. Get the 4 foot by 4 foot plywood and lay it on a flat surface
2. Get the planter top and place it on top
3. Get a pencil and trace the planter
4. Get the jig saw and carefully cut on the lines done before
Step 4: Connecting the Base to the Planter Top
1. On a flat surface place the base
2. Put the hexagon on top and aline it to the base
3. Flip them planter over so the base is on the top
4. Take the nail gun and nail the base to the planter top until sturdy
Step 5: Attaching the Rope
1. Turn your planter on its side
2. Start to glue one side of the planter
3. Before the glue drys put the rope on the glue
4. For extra support nail the rope using the nail gun
5. Repeat steps 2,3 & 4 around the whole planter until the rope is finished
Step 6: Placing Rocks
1. Get your rocks and construction glue
2. Put a layer on construction glue on one side and put the rocks on before the glue drys
3. Do step 2 until all the sides are covered in rocks
Step 7: Your Final Piece
1. Place your plant in and your finished
