Introduction: Hideaway Hanging Rack

As you can tell from the before and after. This place was a disaster. We have tons of clothes that need to be air dried and this laundry room was so crowded that the only relief is to go vertical. This has done the trick. Along with putting the cleaning supplies up on the wall and any assorted stuff put in shelves.

Step 1: Parts and Tools

The main things I had to buy were two single wheel pulleys that mounted to the wall, two singles that had a small hole that I would then use to attach to the conduit with hose clamps. and one double wheel pulley that attached with screws. Some Para chord and my all time favorite box of miscellaneous screws.

Step 2: Putting It Together

from the first pic you can tell the jist of everything. Installing was made easy by putting everything on ceiling joists and I found them using a stud finder. The screw mounted pulleys have removable wheels but the others do not. Not too complicated but I forgot the double pulley and had to take apart to add later. Just thought if you tried this, I may save you a step.

Step 3: Voila

This has been an awesome addition to an ever overcrowded room. Now when we have guests in, they want to check it out when they see it .
