Introduction: His & Hers Wedding Bands

So... you want to get hitched.

You found the love of your life, the girl of your dreams and your future baby mama all in ONE BEAUTIFUL GIRL!

You feel like the luckiest guy on earth!!!!  Except that you're unemployed and so damn broke you can't afford to pay attention.  Don't let that minor difficulty stand in your way. This instructable is for you!!!

Wedding Bands are a must-have, but 14k gold is highly over-rated. (Especially at $1,600 an ounce!)

In this instructable, you'll dazzle your fiance with a handmade-by-you Gold (tone) Wedding Band with RARE, inlaid gold diamond chips.

What are you waiting for? Let's get started!

You will need:
  • 2 His and Hers Zip Ties. The "HIS" zip tie measures about 6" long and 1/8" wide. "HERS" is about 4" long and not as wide.
  • Spray Paint- 2 cans- gold and clear.
  • Gold diamond chips. They are very rare! Don't feel guilty if you have to settle for gold glitter.
First, lay the zip tie flat and cover the ends with tape so they stay clean. Spray the gold paint on both sides.  Let dry.

Once dry, pick up the zip tie.  Make sure the ribbed side is facing outward, then push the male end into the female end until it just catches. (You will adjust it down to size later.)

Next, apply a coat of clear spray paint to the outside of the zip tie, then dip it into the gold glitter. The zip ring will pick up excess glitter so wait 20-30 seconds then wipe the outer rim with your fingertips to remove it.

Once it's dry, you're almost done! Sizing is just a few clicks away, but do so carefully so it's not too tight.

NOW you're done. ;-D
