Introduction: Holiday Scrapbook Pages!

Create two layouts for those Christmas photos using recycled chipboard, hemp paint, and beautiful Modascrap paper! All supplies eco friendly.

Step 1: Painting the Chipboard

The supplies you'll need to gather are chipboard elements from Gypsy Soul, Modascrap Merry and Bright, Izink Nature paint, all eco friendly supplies. They can be found at www.ecopaperarts, either individually or as a kit to make the project.

Step 2: Punch Out and Paint Chipboard.

Punch out the chipboard. If any piece is still attached to the background, use an exacto knife or scissors to detach. Paint the Santa sleigh with the red, and the ornaments one of each color, red, green and gold. They may need a couple coats.

Step 3: Cut Paper to Size.

Trim the Merry and Bright and Tis the Seasons sayings from the patterned paper. Cut the light colored star/snowflake out and cut in half. Cut the green knit patterned paper to 3 x 7 ¾ inches and white cardstock to 3 ¼ x 8 inches . Cut another panel of the green knit paper to 12 x 4, white cardstock to 12 x 4 1/2 , and the red knit paper to 12 x 3.

Step 4: Finish Ornaments.

After the ornaments are dry, trace them onto the light wood grain paper and cut out. Adhere this patterned paper to the back of the ornaments. I used a glue pen to adhere them.

Step 5: Assembling the Red Page.

Layer the 12 inch red panel on top of the green panel, on top of the white panel. Place this panel vertically on the left side of the plaid paper with more red in it, about ½ inch from the left side. Place the three ornaments down the red strip. Place the two sayings in between the ornaments.

Step 6: Complete the Green Page.

Layer the other green knit paper on the white paper. Adhere the painted Santa chipboard piece to the green plaid paper. Use glue dots or a fairly strong adhesive. Place near the top of the plaid paper with more green in it. Tuck in the ½ snow flakes on the left and right side.

Step 7: Add Photos!

Your pages are now complete and ready for photos!
