    How did you inlay it

    You can do that by using a wide ski and cutting it in the shape of a board and you dont need a press.

    How did you press your board? Looks great! I am building longboards for my whole family and I would love to know how you did this one. Thanks

    i didn't press it. it's solid 3/4" piece, i glued the kick tail on.

    glued it on? Wow how did you manage that? Is it strong enough?

    it's strong. i just got my trucks for it and have been skating it for a few weeks now. i didn't glue it on end to end, i cut the end of the panel off and glued it flat on top. (carefully matched up the stripes) so that the last little bit was twice as thick. then i cut and sanded away every thing that didn't look like a kick tail. no bending involved.

    i glued a piece flat on the top, and then beveled it with the table saw.
