Homemade Bandsaw Box

Made out of birch plywood and love.

Step 1: Glue Up

This box is made out of 3/4 inch birch plywood layered using Titebond II wood glue.

Step 2: Hollow It Out

Then taken to the bandsaw and hollowed out.

Step 3: Add Top and Bottom

I cut a separate piece of 3/4 inch birch ply for the top and used a nice scrap of 1/4 inch ply for the bottom just so it wouldn't look like a stack of wood with hardware on it

Step 4: Finish It Up!

I then went to the hardware store and bought some brass hardware. I rounded over the edges just to make it look more uniform.

How do you hollow it out with the band saw?

I took the 3/4 inch plywood and stacked it 3 high and glued it then cut into the blank and cut out a square on the inside so I mad it hollow
