Intro: Homemade Danish Floedeboller

Floedeboller is a Danish dessert, we usually hand out on birthdays. I really love them, so I wanted to try to make my own!
It sounds really easy since they only consists of marshmallows and chocolate, but it turned out to be rather hard to form them correctly. Anyways - they turned out to taste really good, but they didn't really look like they should.

Ingredients:

  • Marshmallow fluff or marshmallows (I tried both, but I would definitely recommend the fluff!)
  • Chocolate
  • Optional: Sprinkles

STEP 1: Forming and Melting

I put the marshmallows and the marshmallow fluff on a plate, and tried forming the fluff into small buns. It didn't really work though, so they became kind of flat!
The marshmallows were just kind of sitting there :)

Then I started heating the chocolate in a water bath, until it was totally liquefied.

STEP 2: Chocolate and Sprinkles on Top

I then put the chocolate on top, trying to make it look good. It was really easy to put it in a nice layer on the marshmallow fluff, but on the marshmallows it was really hard! They didn't turn out as pretty!

Last, but not least, I decorated them with sprinkles! :)

As you can tell, the marshmallow fluff ones turned out best! And they also tasted best, so that would definitely be the way to go :)

Good luck!

Oh wow no no no! Might taste good, but that is not flødeboller..
They are made with whisked egg whites :-)

only if want to make them 100% from scratch :)

Well, otherwise you're not making them :-) sorry, but flødeboller don't contain marshmallows

They do, however, look delicious. Don't get me wrong, I'm just pedantic
