Introduction: Homemade Fishing Bobbers
These are some bobbers that I made based off of one that I found. Somebody had made it and lost it at Jefferson Lake, where I picked it up. They are outstandingly easy to make. Just look at the pictures. They work because the weights on the bottom hold the wood upright. When the line (which is TIED to the eye screw) is pulled, the entire bobber tips over, making it highly visible when you get a hit. I plan to paint mine in high visibility colors as soon as I get some paint. I haven't actually tried casting one of these, so I really hope that the adhesive I used to hold on the weighted side of the bobber (made from nuts, bolts, and washers.) Enjoy.
