Introduction: Homemade Fudge

Step 1: Gather the Ingredients

The first thing you have to do is gather the ingredients.

1.5 cups of sugar

2 tablespoons of butter

2 cups of miniature marshmallows

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2/3 cup evaporated milk

1/4 teaspoon salt

1.5 cups chocolate chips

You will also need a saucepan and a 8 inch square pan lined with foil.

Step 2: Boil the First Ingredients

Now you have to put the saucepan on the stove top and turn it to medium.

Then you have to put the sugar, evaporated milk, butter, and salt into the saucepan and bring them to a boil. This will take about 4-5 minutes and during this time you must stir constantly.

Step 3: Add in the Rest of the Ingredients

Once it is boiling you have to remove it from the heat. Then add the rest of the ingredients into the pot gradually and stir until the are completely mixed in. Continue to stir until it is all one thing and there are no chocolate chips or marshmallow left in the fudge.

Step 4: Refrigerate the Fudge

After you mix in the final ingredients you then have to pour the fudge from the saucepan into the 8 inch pan with foil over it. Then you put it in the refrigerator for two hours. After that you will have your own homemade fudge.
