Introduction: Homemade Tissue Box
Did the box of tissues on your desk run out? Are you too cheap to buy a box of Kleenex? Or are you just bored and want to do something? If any of these apply to you this is the instructable for you! In this instructable i will show you how to turn a roll of toilet paper into a box of Kleenex (actually a roll) Lets get started!
Step 1: Supplies
This instructable is very basic and only needs a few supplies they are :
•A roll of toilet paper (yes the kind wipe your butt with)
•A knife
•A couple rubber bands or tape (rubber bands work best)
And that's it for supplies!

Step 2: Cut the Cardboard Tube
Basically all you need to do to make this is remove the cardboard tube in the center but try removing that sucker and you will find that it is pretty hard. I found the easiest way to remove the tube in the center is to take a knife and separate the tube from the TP by sticking the tip of the knife in between the two and the cutting the tube as much as possible.
Step 3: Remove the Cardboard Tube
Now that the tube is cut it is time to take it out. Start by ripping of pieces of the cardboard that you cut until you can't pull any more out. I ripped out about half the tube. Once you are done with that turn it over to the other side of the roll. sometimes once you have removed part of the tube you can just pull out the rest of the tube if not just repeat the last step and pull the rest of it out.
Step 4: Pull Out the Paper
Once you have removed the cardboard tube you need to pull out the toilet paper so you can you use like a box of Kleenex. A lot of the time when you pull out the tube the paper will come with it but if not just reach in the roll find the end of it and pull it out. Its so easy a caveman can do it!!!
Step 5: Put on Elastic Band
To keep the roll from falling apart and to keep the end tucked against the roll I put a couple of rubber bands on It pretty simple.
Step 6: Finish!
To prevent the homemade tissue box from looking so ghetto you can put a Kleenex holder over it and you wont be able to tell the difference! Unfortunately I do not have a tissue holder so I wrapped it in wrapping paper. Maybe you could give it to someone as a funny gift for someone who blows their nose a lot (my Dad). Well enjoy your brand new homemade box of tissues!
