Introduction: Homopolar Motor

This is a fun project that is easy and doesn't cost much

Step 1: Materials

1 neodymium magnet

1 regular magnet

1 battery (size doesn't matter)

1 striped copper wire (length depends on battery size)

Step 2: Step 1

Strip your copper wire.

Step 3: Step 2

Place the regular magnet on the negative side of the battery then put the neodymium magnet behind the other magnet.

Step 4: Step 3

bend your copper wire so one end of the wire is touching the neodymium magnet and the other end is used for balance

Step 5: Finishing

Your motor should look a little bit like this, you may need to make some minor adjustments to make it go faster.
