Intro: Honey Peach Frozen Yogurt

For a super summery delicious treat, try this easy frozen yogurt filled with the flavor of both honey and peaches. It's super delicious with no artificial anything and it goes a long way into cooling down those warm summer nights.

STEP 1: Ingredients

3 ripe peaches, peeled and cut into chunks. (about 3 cups of cut fruit and you can use a mix of white and yellow)

¼ cup honey

2 ½ cups Greek yogurt (low or non fat, up to you, and my brand of choice is Fage)

STEP 2: Method

With a blender or a hand blender, puree peaches. Add honey and yogurt and puree until smooth. Pour contents into ice cream maker and turn on for 25 to 30 minutes, until mixture is stiff and bunching into the blades.

Remove all frozen yogurt from ice cream maker and store it in another container. Freeze for an additional 2 hours. Serve.

that seems yummy im doing it !!!!?

Is there any other way besides icecream maker?? (I dont have one)

You can do a very slow method of putting the mixture into a freezer safe bowl and freezing and stirring every 15 minutes. It won't have a great texture (it will be more icy than creamy) but it will give you a general idea. I've also seen ice cream made with ziploc bags and ice and salt but I've not tried this method.

Mine's freaking sour as hell, even after adding extra sugar... what the hell I'm doing wrong?! :(

hYu,

The greatness of this frozen yogurt due to its sparse ingredients is really the sweetness of the peaches. Greek yogurt isn't sweet and this isn't going to give you the fake artificial sweetness of a traditional frozen yogurt. Sweet fruit, sweet honey and tangy yogurt will be the flavor. Low fat is also tastier than nonfat greek yogurt.

~~~ yummyy I love this idea!
