  • elastic straps. You can use an old tang top if you would like.
  • Basic sewing supplies

Step 1: Cut Out Your Fabric

Pin the mask pattern to your pillow case using sewing pins so that you can cut it a bit easier. Make sure your mask template is in the bottom corner so that you can save fabric. Make sure not to poke yourself!

Step 2: Cut Out Your Template

Then use sewing scissors to cut around the edge of your pattern. Be sure to take some time with this so you can be as even as possible. After you cut it out, take off the pins and reveal 2 pieces of the same size fabric.

Step 3: Sew the Long Sides of Your Mask

Pin the long sides of you rectangle mask and sew a straight line with whatever stich you would like. You can also use a sewing machine for this, but I used my hands.

Step 4: Sew Your Short Sides

Pin your short sides and create small ruffle sin the sides (this helps make a cup shape). Sew the sides with the pins in to keep the ruffle shape, and take out the pins when your'e done.

Step 5: Attach the Straps

Cut the straps off your tang top and place them where you want them on your mask. You can use pins to help secure them. Sew the straps on with a simple stitch and adjust to your liking.

Step 6: Clean Up Your Mask

Trim off any fraying edges and clean up uneven fabric. Once your'e done with that, your mask is complete! Please keep in mind that this mask will not keep out every germ and sickness, so make sure that you wash your hands and stay inside!
