Introduction: Hovering Magnets
Materials: magnets, balls, tape, thread
Procedure:
1. Form a structure of a pyramid with some rods extending into each other and balls to act as the joints.
2. Form a rod structure and hang it over the pyramid, taping the thread down on the surface.
3. You'll have to fiddle around with it a lot, but you will have a rod hovering over the pyramid.

You do need spherical ball magnets, but they don't have to be neodymium. I would link the set that I used, but I can't find it.

Do you need neodymium magnet balls for this?
