Introduction: How to Calibrate Your IPod, IPhone, or IPad Home Button
Having trouble with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod home button? This is a simple and quick trick to calibrate it and get it working like new again. This is shown on iOS 6, but works on iOS 7 too. Let's get started!
Step 1: Go to Weather App
Go to the weather app. You can use calendar if you prefer, but I like to use weather.
Step 2: Slide to Power Off
Push the power button until the 'slide to power off' slide appears at the top with 'cancel' at the bottom.
Step 3: Hold Home Button
Hold your home button until the 'slide to power off' slide and the 'cancel' button disappear and you have exited the app to your home screen.
Step 4: Voila!
Your home button should work like new agin! If it still takes a few tries to get back to your home screen from another app, just do it again until it works. Thank you for viewing!

I replaced my digitizer and the iPad didn't work as it should. Sometimes it wouldn't take finger strokes, others the home button didn't, or it would just go white screen. This calibration fixed everything. It seems like a magic spell. Thank you.
