Introduction: How to Change Discs on a 4 1/2 Inch Grinder
4 1/2 inch Grinder
Step 1: 4 1/2 Inch Grinder
This power tool is commonly found in metal working and welding shops. It uses abrasive discs to grind, shape and buff metal and other materials.
Step 2: Changing the Nut
Unplugging the cord beforehand is always a good first step. On the side of the grinder gear box, there is a push button lock used to hold the shaft in place. Hold this down and loosen the nut with the accompanying wrench. Different discs can now be put on the shaft. I made this at Tech Shop!

Hi there,
Thanks for sharing, I think the first step should be to PULL THE PLUG!!
Don't want the grinder to accidentally start while you're trying to change the disc ...
Your fingers / hands won't like it :-)
Be safe,
R
