How to Clean Kodak Z740 Sensor

La kodak Z740  fue mi primer camara digital, en dos años el polvo hizo su aparicion. Cuando la limpie mi intencion no era hacer un instructable si tome fotografía de los pasos, si acaso me salto alguno, pero tratare de explicar lo mas detallado que me sea posible.

Espero les sirva a los que tengan el modelo de esta camara.

Step 1: Localizar Los Tornillos

remover los tornillos, son 7 y estan dos abajo, dos a un costado derecho y dos mas al costado izquierdo

Step 2: Retirar Las Partes Plasticas

asi luce la Z740 sin su carcasa, despues de aqui, retirar las pilas para no crear un corto circuito

Step 3: Retirar Pantalla De La Camara

la pantalla no esta atornillada, pero deben safarse dos cables planos que estan conectadas a ella

Step 4: Retirar El Soporte De La Pantalla

retirar los dos tornillos que sostienen el soporte de la pantalla, una vez retirados, quitamos la parte metalica y podremos ver que la siguiente tabla de circuitos no esta atornillada.

Retiramos los dos cables plano que estan conectados. Y ahora lo unico que detiene esta placa es una conexion que embona con la otra placa, solo es mover un poco y suavemente y saldra.

Step 5: Llegando Al Sensor

solo 3 tornillos nos separan del sensor. Al retirar estos quedara expuesto. Tratar de usar la pera en este momento para retirar el polvo o impurezas que esten cerca del sensor para que sea mas facil la limpieza.

Cuidar de no tocar el filtro con las manos, usar una brocha o la pera de aire solamente. 

Step 6: El Sensor!

limpiar con la pera de aire, si es muy grave utilizar un cotonete pero suavemente, con cuidado ya que no queremos rayar el sensor.

Una vez terminado esta listo libre de polvo su sensor, no mas sombras en las fotos.

Step 7: Finalizar

Arme de manera contraria al desarmado y listo!!!

I do not read Spanish, but was able to follow your photos. I learned 'tornillo' means screw and "cuidad el cable plano" is a flat cable connector strip. I have a Kodak z710 camera, which is very similar to yours, but I have not noticed any image clarity loss (sombras). Did dust get into your camera?

Hello. I hope I make myself understood, use google language tools to respond.

If the camera after two years began to show the shadows. The use
constantly (now no longer use it so much) carried it everywhere, I believe that the use
continuous and the trips I took with it were the cause of dust inside the
sensor.
It also has dust between the lens, the worse it if it is complicated and not
necessary and not be seen in the photos I take.

In the photo attached if you can not see dust, but as I commented,
is between the lens and leave it better:)
