Hey man, my girlfriend usually cooks at home, but she's out of town for two weeks. She makes quinoa just like you, but instead of eating it like that she makes some kind of a salad out of it. It's kinda weird, but once you get use to it, it gets delicious. She mix quinoa with fresh tomatoes and parsley. You should definitely try it out!

Oh, sorry for the late response. Yes, she cooks it just the way you do... or at least I think so. I'm not much of an observer to be honest xD
