How to Make a GoPro Mouth Mount

Using a mouth mount allows you to capture POV footage with your GoPro, without needing to wear a helmet or chest mount.

Step 1: Step 1: Melt Polymorph Plastic

You can buy these plastic pellets from Amazon or your local hardware store.

Step 2: Step 2: Mold the Plastic Around a GoPro Clip

You can use pretty much any clip, as long as it will fit in your mouth. Mold the soft (hot) plastic around the clip.

Step 3: Step 3. Bite the Plastic

When the plastic has cooled enough, but is still moldable, gently bite down on it. You want to bite and hold it in your mouth, so make sure it is comfortable.

Step 4: Step 4: Cool the Plastic

You can then dunk the molded plastic in cold water, and it will harden quickly, or leave it in your mouth until it hardens. Once it is hard, you can start filming POV shots with your GoPro!
