Introduction: How to Make Bacon Lip Balm
Now who doesn't like bacon? This easy recipe will have your lips tasting like bacon in no time, to complete the lip balm will take approximately 15 minutes. It makes enough of just over one stick of bacon lip balm.
Step 1: Materials
You will need:
• An unused candle
• Bacon
• Vaseline
• An old lip balm container (optional)
Tools
• An old plastic pot
• A knife
• Something to stir it with
• A plastic bag
• A piece of wax paper
• A kettle
• An unused candle
• Bacon
• Vaseline
• An old lip balm container (optional)

Step 2: Melting the Lip Balm Base
Scrape about two teaspoons of wax shavings with the knife and place them in the plastic bag. Next add about one and a halve teaspoons of Vaseline to the bag. Place the bag in a cup or tin full of boiling water (from the kettle) and wait for it to melt. When it has melted cut the corner of the bag and pour it into the old plastic container. You must keep the container over the hot water to stop it hardening.
Step 3: Preparing the Bacon Oil
Select some nice fatty bacon and cut off all of the fat. Put the bacon fat in a small frying pan with a small piece of bacon 'meat' in to the pan as well. Now heat the bacon with a little oil until it is browned, then pour the oil into your container with the lip balm base it it.
Step 4: Molding the Lip Balm
Now pour the liquid lip balm in to your container, I used an old lip balm stick, or you could use a old Vaseline tin (something of that sort-of size). You have to wait around five minutes for in to cool down, but after that the balm is safe to use.
Step 5: Designing a Label
Now you could just stop there, or you could design a funky label like i did :) and now here's an idea; give it to friends as presents and spread the love of bacon.
