would just buying slide pucks attach them to gloves using Velcro be easy an possibly cheaper? Because most people including me have those type of gloves in the video and already have a saw and would just have to buy the slide pucks and Velcro. and slide pucks are meant for sliding and cutting board is meant for stuff to cut on?

I just made these and they work amazingly well. The only difference is that I used stronger gloves.

how do the pucks stay in if they're held be velcro?

The pucks actually stay in really well. The only force acting on it is horizonal and not veritcal.

and does the wrist puck touch the ground that much? would i be able to go without the wrist puck?

Yes, the puck will touch the ground, but not alot. You probably could go without it, but it's just there so that your glove doesn't get messed up
