Introduction: How to Make the Destroyer Dart Paper Airplane
So named for its Wild Weasel role, the Destroyer Dart is also a good interceptor.
TAA USAF Designation: F105-1
Step 1: Materials
Required:
1 piece of 8.5 by 11 inch Paper
Tape
Optional:
Scissors
Pencil
Step 2: X Fold to Start
Fold the paper from one corner to the other side and repeat on the same side.
Step 3: Cover Folds
Pull the top down over itself and fold it as shown in the pictures.
Step 4: Preparation for the Security Fold
Pull the corner into the center as pictured. Repeat on the other side, then fold the plane in half.
Step 5: Security Fold
Along the airfoil line, fold the two flaps underneath the line.
Step 6: Fold the Wings
Fold the airplane in half along it's center. Then fold the wing down along the security fold. Repeat on the other side of the aircraft.
Step 7: Tape Your Aircraft
Tape along the bottom of the security fold, the back of the security fold and the rear of the airplane.
Step 8: Flight
Your Destroyer Dart is now ready for flight. Enjoy!
