Introduction: UPDATE How-To Make a Bike Blinkers Into an Arm/Body Blinkers

About: It is time to go 100% Metric in America and drop the antiquated Imperial System Support the American Metric Association www.lamar.colostate.edu/~hillger Get rid of all M$ computers in Schools and City Halls! …

You can make any blinker into a body blinker with relatively ease...

You will need ...

two bike blinkers, garden ties, and a heat gun, and something to help reposition hot plastic...

Step 1: Buy Any Cheap Bike Blinker Pair

Buy any cheap bright rechargable bike blinker pair of your choosing...

Buy a pack of gardener zip ties ($4/24), https://www.sciplus.com/12-gardner-bender-reusabl...

Step 2: Loop Tie Through Rubber Band

Loop the point end of the tie through the end of rubber strap and tie off and weave long end through tie... The rubber strap and Gardner tie both stretch...

Step 3: Now Just Adjust to Length You Need

Now take other tie end and connect with blinker hook to whatever length you need...to keep on arm...

Step 4: UPDATE on Adding on Garden Tie

Hi, this is the lastest update on how to attach the garden ties...

First, use a heat gun and soften up the plastic hook to make a tighter hook so tie will not slip off as easily. This will also help if you do the above instructions...

Second, I reversed the tie around so now the head of tie is now 'permanently' attached to hook,

Now you have the leading side of tie going though the last hole of the band and you tighten the loop up by just pulling the end of the tie as the teeth of tie is secure enough to keep the blinker on your arm, and you loosen the loop by just carefully pulling on the black band end!!! Works way more better now!!!
