Turn a regular log into a raging inferno!

DO NOT USE GASOLINE. It is not safe because it gives off dangerous fumes. You can, however, use diesel for this.

I thought this might have been a variation on a log candle ... the kind made with chainsaw cuts. I'm curious to know how long these things burn and what is left after they have "burned out".

Your log jet looks like it requires a continuous forced draft and won't burn without it. Is that correct? If so, it is a very cool novelty, but not a practical item for camping, let's say.

Once you get it started and running for a while, it will run slowly on its own draft, like the candle version, but at a slower burn rate. You could add a 12-volt mini blower, like the kind used to fill air mattresses, to boil water fast. My design was not really for camping, but more for melting glass or aluminum.
I want the instructions lol so that I am use with coal for forging, I believe I understand how it works but always want to verify
