Intro: How to Make a Mini Multi Color Lamp (simple Version)

Ever wanted a small pocket sized lamp that could be a mild disco light for your room which shows the light of your mood ? You can do it with the mini multi color lamp with simplest things ever found. Keep reading...

STEP 1: Things You Need

As this instructable is very easy, only simple things are used here. They are:

LED bulb(s). You can use any number of LEDs, with any of your favorite color. (I used one bulb and multi color bulb is recommended. Use water resistant one if available.)
Battery. Any good battery can be used. i used a 9v one.
A pocket sized small bottle. (I used a banana essence bottle.)
Wires. To connect battery with the LED(s)
Water. For a good look and charm.

Optionally, a tool to do some work in this instructable and sticky tape.

STEP 2: First...

All you have to do is, fill the pocket sized bottle with water. This conducts the light to a whole new level.

STEP 3: Next...

Drill a hole on the cap of the bottle, then insert the LED bulb(s) on a styrofoam that is correctly equal to the diameter of the cap of the bottle for a grip. Then join the LED with styrofoam to the cap with the bulb facing so that the top of the bulb is inside the bottle when closed.

STEP 4: Finally...

Connect the LED to your battery. And that's all. I have not done a perfect housing for the batteries and the bottle, because it is up to your imagination and creativity. Enjoy with this portable pocket sized lamp anywhere, anytime.
Hope You Liked It.

Cool! Try this with crumpled transparent gelatin paper instead of water. And using button cells (3 I guess) will let you house everything in the bottle. Don't forget to put a switch if you don't want your batteried getting drained. It would make a nice keyring.
yeah. i thought of button cells and switches, in fact i was thinking about this, but i didn't have the time to really organize and do it. haha. and i'll try this idea on a new project.
